Dr. Sunny Shah received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical science with a minor in entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Shah completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Central Florida/HCA Healthcare GME Program and became board certified in 2024.
He has presented research on postpartum depression and participated in professional presentations, including studies on psychedelics in psychiatry and psilocybin for depression. His leadership experience includes serving as Education Chief Resident and Resident Member of the Program Evaluation Committee.
