2023 - 2024 Substance Use Disorders

This presentation reviews the history of substance use disorders.  The presenter will discuss the general mechanisms of addiction and will review the most commonly abused substances, including alcohol use disorders, sedative-hypnotic use disorders, opioid use disorders, and stimulant use disorders.  In addition, the speaker will discuss inhalants, hallucinogens, and other substance use disorders.
