
Neonatal and Pediatric Epilepsy Syndromes
This webinar will cover neonatal and pediatric epilepsy syndromes as defined by the most recent ILAE Classification of Epilepsy Syndromes in 2022. We will begin by discussing common epilepsy syndromes with onset in neonates and infants, then those with onset in childhood. Discussions will include the common seizures types, EEG patterns, and comorbidities associated with these various epilepsy syndromes. The session will include video examples of different seizures types commonly associated with specific epilepsy syndromes. Finally, we will briefly review the prognoses and treatments of specific pediatric and neonatal epilepsy syndromes.
