
2025 - 2026 Neuroinfectious disease
This course provides an in-depth exploration of neuroinfectious diseases, focusing on the various pathogens that affect the nervous system, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. Participants will learn to differentiate between these pathogens, recognize their clinical presentations, and understand the diagnostic tools and treatment strategies used in managing these infections.

- Recognize the clinical presentations and neurological symptoms associated with common and emerging neuroinfections.
- Discuss diagnostic tools including CSF analysis, serologies, and neuroimaging findings relevant to neuroinfectious diseases.
- Summarize initial treatment strategies and understand the principles of antimicrobial therapy in neuroinfectious contexts.
