Sebastian Lopez, M.D. is a board-certified neurologist with expertise in central nervous system autoimmune neurological diseases. He completed his Neurology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Florida, where he was Chief Resident for Administration. He pursued advanced training with a fellowship in Autoimmune Neurology and a subsequent fellowship in Neuroimmunology/Multiple Sclerosis at Mayo Clinic Rochester.

Dr. Lopez’s research and clinical focus centers on understanding neurologic phenotypes, radiographic biomarkers, treatments, and outcomes in neuroimmunological disorders, with the aim of developing improved therapies.

He serves as the Director of the Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology Division at Mayo Clinic Florida and holds the academic rank of Assistant Professor of Neurology.
