Dr. Pearce attended Medical School and Residency at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.  Since completing residency in 1997, Dr. Pearce has worked primarily in the area of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry in hospital systems in Ohio, North Carolina and Florida.  She has also worked on Assertive Community Treatment teams (ACT and FACT) as well as working on  numerous Inpatient Psychiatric  Services.   Dr. Pearce is Board certified in Psychiatry and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. ​​

In her free time, Dr. Pearce enjoys traveling, boating, and fishing with her husband and family.  Dr. Pearce is also a lifelong lover of cats and enjoys spending time with the 6 cats and kittens whom she shares her home.
