Trish is a bachelor's-prepared registered nurse who is currently a Quality Program Specialist with TeleSpecialists.  She came to TeleSpecialists after having been the stroke coordinator for a comprehensive stroke centre in Florida and co-chair of the Pinellas County EMS STEMI-Stroke Workgroup.  Prior to that, she was the Medical Staff Performance Improvement Coordinator for a multi-campus hospital system, held bedside and charge nurse positions in the specialties of neurology, oncology, and progressive care, maintained Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification for eight years, was a member of the Informatics Council, and was a member of the Outcomes Management Committee.

She began her nursing career in the dental field and then as a CNA, but having been raised by a quality control engineer for a long-haul truck manufacturer, Trish always had a penchant for process improvement and survey readiness.  Later, supporting each of her parents through chronic illnesses and hospice care at home solidified her resolve to contribute to the reliability of healthcare.

In her spare time, Trish volunteers for the Ryan Wells Foundation and for the Lyn Fund, participates in the Great American Teach-In, and enjoys travel and outdoor activities with her family.  Two cats at home are all her busy schedule allows for pets.
