William Dotson M.D. is a board-certified neurologist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (ABCN).​

​Dr. Dotson earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine where he also completed his residency in adult neurology. He then completed a fellowship in neurophysiology with a special focus on epilepsy and EEG interpretation at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.​

​Dr. Dotson has a special interest in treating status epilepticus and the surgical treatment of epilepsy. He is a member of the American Epilepsy Society, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Neurology. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society.

​Dr. Dotson lives in Kentucky with his wife and children. In his free time, he enjoys listening to all kinds of music and playing guitar.​
