Dr. Lino Linares is a board certified psychiatrist and initially graduated of Florida State University where he obtained a master's degree and an Education Specialist Degree in Mental Health Counseling.  Dr. Linares spent the next four years working as a therapist and discharge planner before pursuing his dream of becoming a psychiatrist. 

Dr. Linares received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.  His residency was completed at the Medical University of South Carolina where he focused on adult inpatient psychiatric treatment, emergency room psychiatry and electroconvulsive therapy. 

After residency, Dr. Linares served as medical director of a 60-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in Florida and operated an outpatient clinic for BayCare Health Systems.
