Hermelinda G. Abcede, MD completed her medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2006. She then moved on to UCLA to complete her Internship in Internal Medicine in 2007, Neurology Residency in 2010, and Vascular Neurology Fellowship in 2011. She is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Surgery Neurology. 

Hermelinda’s interests include acute stroke care, for example, both ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, as well as education. Prior to joining Telespecialists in November of 2022, Hermelinda had a long-term academic position and won multiple teaching awards.
