As discussed in part one of the dizziness lecture, the main goal was to identify the acute dizzy patient and differentiate between a posterior circulation stroke and other possible etiologies, such as BPPV and vestibular migraines, being two examples. In this lecture, we will focus on the chronic dizzy patient, touching base on chronic dizziness, vestibular disorders and how they relate to CNS disorders, ontological disorders, and finishing up with tinnitus and hearing loss.
